Alex earned his B.S. in Business Management from North Carolina State University and an MS in Accountancy from UNC-Wilmington and is a Certified Public Accountant.He enjoys the outdoors and watersports.He has been passionate about the environment since he was 3 when his father taught him to pick up trash while fishing and to leave natural areas better than he found them. Alex has worked on a variety of political campaigns and environmental advocacy groups throughout his career.
